June 2010 Reading List

Believe it or not, we’re more than halfway through May, so I thought I’d get a head start on picking my books for June.  If you haven’t seen my reading list for May, you can check it out here.  As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve gotten a few emails from readers asking me about other books I recommend or am considering reading, so I decided I’m going to post a monthly reading list, which will contain the books that I plan to read during the upcoming month.

It looks like I’m not going to get through all of my May picks (5 books in a month was a pretty ambitious goal for me), so I’m only going to list three books for June.

1) Make Money Online: Roadmap of a Dot Com Mogul by John Chow

2) The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki

3) Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard by Chip and Dan Heath

As always, I strongly recommend reading The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss.  If you haven’t read this yet, I definitely think you should read it before any other book I mention here.

If you’ve read or are currently reading any of the books listed here, please share your comments.  I’d love to see what everyone else thinks about these books, especially before I read them.

  1. Gotta love the Art of the Start by Guy. It’s a great book, full of inspiration. I even emailed Guy after reading it and he personally answered me back. It was a nice touch.

@ Christine – Really? That’s awesome. I’m pretty excited about reading it. There are so many good books, I wish I had the time to get through them all quickly!

  2. I loved the World is Flat. There are a lot of themes such as outsourcing in that book that parallel Tim’s book.

Thanks for the suggestion – I’ll definitely look into that for July’s reading list.
