Saturday Bits & Pieces: Vacation, Thanks, Interviews, and More
It’s time for another weekend, so hopefully you’re able to take a couple days to relax a bit. After the past few weeks of posting several content-packed articles, I thought it was a good time to do a “bits and pieces” post, which I will do from time to time. For those of you who haven’t been reading this blog for long, I’ll do a “bits & pieces” post periodically that basically contains a few quick random points, and maybe a link or two that I’ve recently found interesting. It’s kind of a mental break in the world of blogging.
- It’s vacation time – As I think I may have briefly mentioned in a previous post, I’m off to sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this Sunday, and not returning until Friday. It’s my first real break after a busy tax season, so I’m definitely looking forward to laying on a beach and sipping tropical drinks (in an all-inclusive fashion of course) without a care in the world. I’m going to do my best to have 1 or 2 posts scheduled to publish automatically while I’m gone. I hate when I’m not around to respond to comments quickly, so please excuse any delays!
- Thank you – I just wanted to thank everyone who has signed up so far to my free muse creation newsletter. So far, over 50 people have subscribed, and I’m definitely looking forward to building on that number. I’ve already had a couple killer newsletters sent out (depending on when you subscribed), so please do subscribe if you’re interested in a lot of content that I won’t publish here.
- Automate your time on hold – A few weeks ago, I posted about a service that would automate your calls to support phone lines so that you wouldn’t need to go through all the menus and wait on hold. There’s another similar free service out there, called LucyPhone. It’s amazing what kind of services you can get for free online.
- Is anyone having success? – I’m looking to interview someone who has recently (within the past year) engaged in lifestyle design or has successfully automated at least part of their income. As I’ve mentioned before, these interviews are inspirational to me, so I’d love to be able to publish some here. Send me a quick message, and maybe we can do an interview through e-mail or over Skype.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
