Wednesday Morning Bits & Pieces: Interview at Smart Income Blog and What’s Upcoming On The Blog
Hey everyone, I hope your week is going well! We’re halfway through, and the weekend is right around the corner. I just wanted to make a post with two very quick notes that might be of interest to you:
- I was interviewed by Kevin over at Smart Income Blog for his “Bloggers You Should Follow” series, which has already featured other bloggers like Maren Kate from Escaping the 9 to 5. In the interview, I answer questions about what inspired me to pursue entrepreneurship in general, what gadgets I can’t live without, and what my biggest challenge is in my passive income quest. It’s a fairly short interview, but I definitely recommend checking it out. And thanks, Kevin, it was an honor to be a part of your series!
- I’m almost ready to unleash part 3 of the Info Barrel Earnings Challenge. It’s going to be all about how to get your articles (and any websites) to rank higher in Google. I’m going to go through a ton of great options and sites that can help you accomplish that. Look for that later this week.
Have a great Wednesday!

Thanks for the interview, Eric. It was my pleasure. Whenever you want to do a guest spot again, the door is always open!
Love your site and content. I learn something new every week that I should be doing for my blog and income generation by reading yours.

Thanks for the opportunity, Kevin, and for the kind words about my site. Maybe somewhere done the line we can exchange guest posts with each other!

Slowly but surely, it’s coming. I have a basic outline done already, but it’s going to be awhile before I get all the content knocked out. I really want this to be an AWESOME resource, and not just a brief “report” like many other free eBooks out there. Essentially, I want this to be something that someone would be willing to pay money for (even though it’ll be free).
Therefore, I think it’s going to take some time before I’m done and happy with it.

As I learned with my eBook project, Eric, sometimes it is absolutely worth it to take the time to ensure that you have a great, highly valuable, final product. Of course, people would argue that the time you spend ensuring perfection could be better spent or allocated on other projects….even still, the LAST thing I had wanted to do was disappoint or make my end customer feel like they had been had or jipped…
Even outsourcing, sometimes, can’t totally catch the essence of your own personality and spirit…it’s your chance to do that with your own book….
Looking forward to it…and, any updates, for sure…
Good luck Eric! …and, see you over on Info Barrel!

I feel the same way, Howie. I want my final product to be amazing, so I’m willing to spend the necessary time and delay the release of it if I think it’s going to allow me to offer something better.
I have just discovered InfoBarrel so will be reading over the first two parts and will look out for part three when it comes out.
